June 2, 2008 :: Moving to Austin

After 2 great years in San Diego, I am moving back to Austin, TX to be closer to family and friends. I will be seeking a new job in biomedical engineering this fall. I found an apartment in the arboretum area, and I will move in as soon as my stuff gets there (looking like June 14th). Until then, Kourt & I are going to Vegas!


Feb 2, 2008 :: Sailing Race Results

Eric Hoffman and I placed 5th in the first race and 1st in the second race this morning in the B-fleet regatta.


Jan 21, 2008 :: Austin Trip Planned

David Littlestar is getting married March 8th, so I am flying back to Austin, TX for the weekend. I will be in town March 6th-10th, and I am looking forward to the wedding as well as being back in the ATX.


Jan 19, 2008 :: Sailing Race Scheduled

I will be racing with Eric Hoffman in the B fleet against members of the Convair Yacht Club next Saturday, February 2nd. The wather forcast is overcast and gusty, with possible rain. Sounds like fun.


Jan 18, 2008 :: Dallas Trip Planned

I purchased tickets today (using my christmas gift card, with many thanks) to come and visit my sister at SMU and some friends in Dallas, TX. I will be in Dallas February 15th-18th.


Jan 4, 2008 :: New Book Started

With a significant amount of outside help, I plan to write a book for publication in 2009. I will start writing it now, and I will review the progress as is stands in September to determine a more specific publication date.


Nov 20, 2007 :: Website Launch

nathanshepard.net is live. Although it is currently just a few paragraphs and assorted papers, I would like to build it in to a thorough representation of my professional history, accomplishments, and goals.
